Central Alberta Couples Photographer ~ Contest Winner ~ Emily + Michael

I held a contest back in December and Emily was the lucky winner! Her prize was a photo session of her choice with me…AND…a photo session she could gift to anyone she chose. She gifted that session to her mama Michelle. What a good daughter! Six long months later, Emily was ready to claim her prize!

The fabulous Jasmyn Tremmel at Luxxe Hair Studio got Emily all ready for our session with a new hairdo and beautiful makeup! Thanks Jasmyn she looked so good!

Emily and her boyfriend Michael met me at my house where we piled into my vehicle and off we went. I’d been wanting to shoot in this area EVERY SINGLE TIME we drive by it! I was so excited that these two were game to scale the creekside bank with me! And I was even more excited to see a trail! Meant to be!

Michael wasn’t super excited for this evening, not going to lie. I promised to make it fun and I also laid all my cards on the table and let them both know that by the end of the night, they’d both know how ridiculously dorky I am.  I’m pretty sure Em already knew that 😉 Spoiler alert–Fun was had by all! This next shot, this is where the fun started..Michael followed my instructions to a tee when I said ‘now turn to me’. Who knew he had Blue Steel in him?!

The Castor Creek had so many areas for us to explore. I loved it. I could have stayed there all night! We left the creek and headed over to the ball diamonds. These two both played baseball here in Castor when they were younger, so it was only fitting to spend a little time in the dugout and on the bleachers. Next stop, the green! We snuck onto a hole while no one was watching. I’m sure they’re sick of hearing how cute they are together, but really, who cares. Look how cute they are!  We ended our night in a field under the moon and the first stars of the night. Emily and Michael it’s easy to see how comfortable you are with each other and how supportive you are of one another.
