These two camo lovin’ cuties just got back from a well deserved holiday touring some BC wineries! They’ve had TONS of great things happen to them this year! They’ve purchased their very first home together, they’ve gotten engaged and Ashley just recently became a CPA!

From the Bride To Be

“Since we had started dating, we had started a tradition of going on an annual snow trip at least once a year. Our choice this year was Kimberley, BC. We had booked this vacation back in November so I had zero idea that he had planned anything else. After our first day out on the mountain, Dustin mentioned that he had a little post-Valentine’s gift for me. He had prepared a Frozen themed scavenger hunt (cause I love Disney and Frozen is my #1 favourite) in which he would read quotes and I had to correctly guess who said the quote in order to get the location of the “figurine” that I had to collect. He had sent me down to my car, to the other building’s reception desk, and to our ski locker. When I had come back and presented the final figurines, I noticed a basket on the table with a bunch of bath stuff, popcorn and the movie Frozen for us to watch. He said before we could have our “movie night” there was one more quote for me to read.

Once he handed me the paper and I began to read it I knew immediately that it was an except from “Love is an open door”. I read the piece of paper laughing all the way through and once I read the lyrics from the song “Can I say something crazy?” Dustin was down on one knee saying “will you marry me?”. Naturally, I said yes :)”
