This woodland inspired wedding in Big Knife Provincial Park was truly incredible. Ashleigh and Cody are two of the most genuine and down to Earth people you’ll ever meet and watching them say their vows to each other in front of their very favourite people was such an honour!
Scroll down to see what I mean â¤ď¸
Watching Ash’s mama button her into her dress was one of my favourite moments from the morning! She attached a little bow from her own mother’s wedding dress onto the back of Ashleigh’s so her Grandmother would be with her too â¤ď¸
She chose to do a first look with her Dad and her two bridesmaids too and it brought a tear to my eye. Their faces are priceless!
Ashleigh’s mom and dad delivered her to the entrance of the trail and she walked for a few minutes to get to Cody. He covered it pretty good, but I could tell he was getting that kind of nervous excited feeling waiting for his bride.
Just look at him looking at her!!
If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll see that Arwyn, Ashleigh’s beloved chihuahua has made multiple appearances throughout the day. The ceremony wouldn’t have been complete without the pup!
After the exchange of rings, they chose to do a hand fasting ceremony as well.
Oh man!! They’re just so HAPPY!!!
This wedding party was so much fun and so full of energy! We started out nice and slow obviously with shoots of Schnapps đ Then, we followed a trail and hiked a freaking mountain! Well, maybe more like a large hill..but it felt like a mountain in the hot sun! The photos though made the hike well worth it! It looks like we were transported to another world!
The Coronation Community Hall Reception
This cake, from Creative Cakes by Carol, was gifted to the couple by their favourite auntie, Auntie Barb!
Ashleigh made a ton of her decor herself! She’s so talented!
Our emcee for the evening was Auntie Barb! She was super entertaining!!
These two rapped it out like nobody’s business!
This first dance….that dress…those looks. Guys. So good!!
We snuck outside to take advantage of the last little bit of golden light. It definitely didn’t disappoint!
Ashleigh + Cody….thank you for being you, for sharing yourselves with me and all your loved ones that had the privilege of witnessing your promises and your love during your wedding.
I wish you every single little speck of love and happiness that this world has to offer!
