A Destination Wedding in Banff at the Fenlands

Remember how Brett asked Jolene to marry him? On the top of a mountain with a jar full of all the things he loved about her written on slips of paper? You can read more about that here in their engagement session blog! This post though is about their Banff wedding this past July.

Yay!

I just can’t say enough about the love and support Brett and Jolene had surrounding them on their wedding day in Banff. There were so many moments that meant so much to those present and those that couldn’t be in attendance.

“We had the most amazing wedding day in the mountains surrounded by our family and friends. Our hearts were overflowing with all the love and support we felt. We had so much fun celebrating with all out guests and we could not be happier to be husband and wife!”

Making your way around Banff with a wedding party is no easy feat, but this amazing group took it all in stride! There were so SO many tourists taking pictures of them 😂

Jolene put so much effort into planning her reception decor. She and Brett even made a ton of the elements themselves! They truly outdid themselves in transforming this space into this!

This take on the show game was the BEST! Instead of asking the bride and groom, the wedding party had to provide the answers to the questions!!

The speeches were absolutely everything speeches at a wedding should be, from the heart, full of humour and at points brought everyone to tears.

We snuck out after the first dance and headed over to Vermillion Lakes for these golden hour portraits and it was 10000% worth it!
