This romantic outdoor sunset wedding was such celebration of love! Jenine and Anthony chose to have their ceremony and reception in Jenine’s parent’s backyard, just outside of Red Deer and it was not only beautiful, but heartfelt and absolutely full of all the feels!
We met online! I had just moved back to Red Deer and was staying with my mom. We were drinking wine by the fireplace and looking through profiles together. He had a picture in front of his big truck. Mom said I should message him, so I did!
We just kinda looked at each other one day and said “Should we get married? We should get married.” Anthony officially popped the question in Calgary at the theatre.
Anthony’s vows. They were so honest and heartfelt.
Don’t cry. Don’t cry. Don’t CRY. I’m crying. And probably some other stuff about her being pretty and me being lucky.
Elope.
Just kidding, wedding are these crazy magical days that go by so fast. Make sure to take some time to enjoy it.
Also, Raelene is great.
I hope you enjoy a look through some of my favourite moments from this romantic outdoor sunset wedding!
Jenine and Anthony’s timeline for their day was a little different than most. They chose to have a first look, take their wedding party and family photos, have their catered dinner and THEN have their ceremony followed by a super fun reception! So Jenine had TWO dresses! This floral Ted Baker number on the left and this gorgeous gown on the right, which was also covered in florals! Right before the sunset ceremony she changed into her wedding gown-and man oh man, was she ever stunning!! Keep scrolling to see!
Jenine’s stepdfather Jim pulled out this replica gun and put Anthony through the paces about marrying his daughter too during our photo time!
This photo of Jenine’s parents from the end of the family photo time is one of my favourites…weddings are suuuuuper stressful, especially when you’re hosting it at your home. Jim and Tracy were so gracious to each and every one of the happy couples’ guests, but in this moment, it’s all about them ❤️
Remember when I said Jenine changed into her gown right before the ceremony…her mom and her bridesmaids helped her get prepared.
Jenine said that Anthony’s vows were the best moment of the day. Look at them 😍
After the ceremony they popped a bottle of champagne and poured it for their guests coming down the aisle!!
These golden hour sunset portraits are everything!
Back at the second half of the reception!
