Kyle and Ashley are such a sweet down to earth couple, it’s no wonder they chose to have a Rustic Alberta Outdoor Wedding! From the time we started communicating, to meeting them for their engagement session and then finally spending the day with them and their family and friends on their big day, I just knew that they’d be so fantastic to be around!
These two have been together for*almost*ever. They met during their high school years at a mutual friend’s birthday party way back when and have been together ever since! Let’s take a trip down memory lane!
Ashley: We got engaged on July 27th at Wolf Lake on a beautiful evening on the beach. We had been camping with Kyle’s family and my parents came down for the day. It was only 2 days before Kyle’s grandparent’s 50th Anniversary. We had a wonderful day of fishing and had returned later in the evening. We went back to camp and Kyle asked if I wanted to go take some pictures of the sunset on the beach with him and that’s when he popped the question! We had been together for almost 7 years at the time.
I feel the need to mention that Kyle is hilarious and one of the most fun grooms I’ve ever had đ If you’ve met him, you know how great he is!
Kyle says this is what went through his mind:
Here she comes donât cry!
She is so beautiful! Keep it together! You got this!
…. then I was completely speechless just taking every moment in!
Ashley: Donât get caught up in perfection. The day is all about you as a couple, so do what you want to do, and remember you can’t please everyone.
Congratulations to you Mr and Mrs Weeks!! I can’t wait to see what kind of amazing adventures you come up with next!!

If youâre recently engaged or planning a wedding and youâd like to have a photographer thatâll take the stress away from the photo part of the day so you can just enjoy yourself, we should talk!
