To register or not to register, that is the question.
A wedding or bridal registry is a service provided by a retail store or website that helps an engaged couple communicate their gift preferences to their wedding guests. As a couple, you select items that you’d like and the store will then help your guests purchase these items and avoid duplicates! There are many kinds of registries out there. There are Honeymoon registries, charity registries, wine registries…the possibilities are endless!
Brides.com says ‘Even if you write “no gifts” on the invitation or your wedding website, wedding guests will buy you presents. Friends and family who cannot attend your wedding will send a gift. People who love you will buy you engagement and wedding presents regardless of whether or not you are registered someplace for things that you actually want to own.’
Make it easier for those that WANT to give you a gift! They want to celebrate you, celebrate with you!
