Badlands Engagement Photos

When Jennifer and I discussed where to meet for her and Steven’s engagement session we immediately decided on Drumheller! Badlands engagement photos are trending right now for sure, and do you really have to ask why? The colours and tones of the landscape in the Badlands was so complimentary to Jen’s outfit choices! After meeting up at the Long Branch Saloon, we headed off to a side road I’d found while location scouting. After a short walk (where I almost slipped down a hill making a great first impression on my new clients) we got on with our session! Let me tell you, Jennifer is a photographer herself (check her out at Jennifer Szott Photography) and it is intimidating to photograph and lead a session for another professional! I was super nervous, but working with Jen and Steve was so much fun! We all settled into a rhythm and together we created some of my most favourite engagement photos to date!

I absolutely cannot wait to photograph their wedding in Lake Louise this coming January!
