Castor Engagement Photographer ~ Ashley + Brad ~ Surprise

Brad sure is sneaky! Ashley has had a couples session booked with me for quite awhile. A few days after speaking to her, I got a Facebook message from her boyfriend Brad. It said : If my girlfriend Ashley has booked a photo session with you can you please call me?  So I did. It turns out that Brad had ordered a beautiful Vera Wang engagement ring that day! OMG!!! I literally had chills speaking with him on the phone! He asked me to push our session back a little because the ring would take a few weeks to get in.  Let me just stop right there so all the ladies reading this can appreciate how thoughtful Brad is!

I got a call just a few days ago from him saying the ring came early! Here’s where I frantically contacted Ashley and said I’d just had a cancellation for Thanksgiving weekend! The bait had been set!

I have no idea how Brad held it together until the end of our session! Ashley was totally shocked! The tears started almost right away. It was one of the best things I’ve ever seen in my life! My heart was racing almost the entire time, so I’m sure he was a nervous wreck! He said on the drive home after he was surprised Ashley couldn’t feel his heart racing when she had her hand on his chest!
